Page 1 - in which Raj starts it all off

Wow... Got the site up an running today. Last night I redirected the Name Servers and they have dutifully propagated. Over here I've got all the little pointers neatly laid out in all the little configs - drush included. Got my handy Drupal modules installed and enabled, got my blocks going where I want them, and the garland theme is looking mighty fine for starters.

SVN is a godsend, everything is under control. My local site is a twin of the public site. Until this, my first posting, they are both empty.

So now it's time to make my public presence reflect my reality. I'm fretting over what to write - how to portray myself as the accomplished developer that I am with very little experience outside the Dark Realms of Microsoft. I've got to somehow pull myself together and make this profession profile that will launch me into FOSS Land.

Making the transition from the Dark Side is a lot more interesting and fun than putting together a site that's all about me. So why don't I just start with this blog, I says to myself. It's not as scary as I thought.

Next step will be to make a title, or a mission. Maybe lose Mr. Drupal Drop guy. Make some Primary Links to stuff like Skills and Portfolio and think about what I can write that depicts what I have to offer and what I'm trying to do.

I think this a good start.

Doh - As I'm about to submit, I realize I forgot to install path_auto. Oh well.
